There has been a report of healthy growth of sales in Huawei in spite of the bans in United States against the tech giant based in China as per a release of a statement from the company on Wednesday. Huawei had seen an increase in the revenue by 24.4 % for the fiscal year’s last three quarter in a success which is surely going to frustrate the government of United States.
The commerce department of United States had added Huawei in the month of May to the Entity List which prohibited the companies in United States from selling the technologies to Huawei. There had been widespread speculations that this move would lead to the hampering of the ability of tech giant to grow however that has not been the case up until now.
The United States’ primary concerns are with the development of 5G telecom infrastructure by Huawei all across the world which is an area which the company had boasted about in their latest press release.
Till now, Huawei has signed over 60 commercial contracts for 5G with the leading carriers around the world and shipped over 400,000 active antenna units into the markets globally. The production and the supply of the data communications, optical transmissions and IT products saw a steady growth.
A few countries like New Zealand and Australia have already banned Huawei effectively from the development of their 5G networks however those countries are going to see increased costs for the construction of telecom which is something that the countries that do not have as much wealth are capable of doing.
Though a wealthy country in UK has reportedly still used a lot of equipment from Huawei for the rollout of 5G
